It’s been a while since I contributed to this blog. Years ago, I was posting almost every day. Then every other day. Eventually, it faded into obscurity.
In the last 2 weeks, I’ve changed my mentality on life a bit. I’m striving to eliminate pessimism, replace it with optimism, live in the moment, and laugh a lot more. It’s been difficult to break out of old habits, but bit by bit, the weight that I felt in my day to day is being lifted…
And it’s amazing that the moment the weight feels lighter, when the clouds feel like they’re clearing, that this journal/blog was the first thing that came to mind.
I’m going to begin writing here again, mostly for myself, but also for anyone who stumbles on here, and finds something (anything) that resonates. Here’s how I plan to do it:
Mantra Monday: It’s the beginning of the week. What better way to begin than with a mantra that you can repeat to contribute to your resiliency?
Tips Tuesday: There are so many pieces of wisdom out there (and in my own head). Every Tuesday, I’ll post a link, or come up with a list of tips that helped me do something.
Wallpaper Wednesday: I love quotes. I love wallpapers. As cliche as it sounds, I’ve found that finding some neat wallpapers (or better yet, creating my own) helps inspire and motivate! I’ll post them here every Wednesday.
Truth Thursday: I’ll post a slightly longer blog on these days, elaborating on a concept or theme or thought.
Fun Friday: Laughter is an amazing medicine. Every Friday I’ll post something that made me smile. Hopefully it’ll make you smile too!
It’s never too late to start. The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time to start is today. The third best time to start is tomorrow.
Today it is.
